V6 or V8??

V6 - if you want power go for a VY supercharged 6. If you want a smooth daily driver that you dont plan to modify, go a VZ. If you get a VZ with the 175 motor and dont hammer it everywhere you can get them under 10L/100km

v8 - either are pretty much the same, and fuel economy will be similar

Mate i would seriosally go with whatever u want v8 or v6 its all up to you
just remember its your car and you have to be happy with it

VZ with a clubsport kitted and some nice rims would look good i think it does n my girls think it does too hahaha

lol i have a vx s supercharged 6 and i get 13.5l/100 (450-480 to 60ltrs then i fill up) and i want a car thats better on the fuel too. i asked this question also and got mixed results from everyone. I was thinking of buying a VZ ex cop car that has factory FE2 and 15x7 chasers as well as traction control and full power windows. its a 2006 with 69,000 on the clock but everyone said don't do it. I just need to be spending less than my current $100 a week on juice.

So you guys all reckon a VZ 175kw is better on juice than a vy ecotec?

what about when you put a k&n in the air box of a vz and an exhaust and maybe a tune.. how much better are they?

(sorry if i am stealing this thread just thought i'd ask a few more relavent q's)
