Hi dudes, some of you may have remembered a few months ago I posted up a story about my mates delusions of owning a 12 second vp v6 commodore. For those of you who don't remember or didn't read it I'll tell the story again. My mate and I went to willowbank raceway to have some fun. I asked him what he thought his car would run. When he said "13's" I simply cracked up. I tried to tell him it wasn't that quick but he just said "You don't understand, it just wants to take off" Anyway, that night the man upstairs muffed one of the timeslips and it read 12.666. Of course my mate believed it. He proceeded to brag about how his car goes quicker then brand new ve ss v8s. So another mate of mine and I bet him a carton of beer each that he couldn't even run a 14.999 or quicker. Well, we went to the track the next wednesday night and of course I got completely drunk that weekend.

Anyway, back when I first told the story I promised a video. Now I know it's been a while but I've finally got a decent computer to do all the editing etc. It's a funny video of the second night when he was trying to get 14.999 or better. It's my first movie so I hope you guys like it.

lol its funny when people talk about how fast there car is when it doesnt even come close to what they talk. The amount of times iv heard somebody say that there Excel beat a WRX or V8 is amazing. And the only mod they put on was a Air Pod filter.

well actually mine does- like a standard 5ltr and i hate s&it talkers as well but it does especially on idle and when it guzzles up hills, iv had a few people ask me is it a v8 and when i say no its a 6 they cant believe it- but it only happened when i had a straight through redback muffler fitted and no the pacies make it sound real loud but not v8'ish

sometimes yeah its warranted. but u can say ur car has this done, this done or this done and should run a 12, by all calculations, but at the end of the day its a sport ie 90% determined by its user. so if the driver cant drive, his potentially quick car could run slow, or vise versa, so its a matter of lettin the run do the talking i think,
