In late 2005 we lost a close friend to Leukaemia. As his passion was motorsport both cars and bikes, we thought the best way to have something in his memory was in the form of a cruz. In holding the event we hope to not only raise awareness of Leukaemia, but also help in the fight to find a cure. Last year we had a great turnout, and are hoping this year will be even more successfull. Check out the webpage, spread the word and we hope to see some of you there.

WHAT: A car / bike charity cruz to assist in raising funds and awareness about leukaemia. All vehicles of any kind are welcome.

WHERE: Homebush Bay, Sydney to the picturesque Soldiers Beach, Central Coast.
Meet at Carpark 5 in Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush Bay at 9am. At 10.30am all cars / bikes will leave for Soldiers Beach, Central Coast.

WHEN: Sunday 26th August 2007.

COST: $10 entry per vehicle

There are prizes to be won on the day!
Food and drinks will be available for purchase at both destinations.

All proceeds going directly to the Leukaemia Foundation!

Yes this event is definately on. A lot of time and effort has been put in from our group to raise funds and hold this event for Leukaemia. Should be a great day.

We dont have a planned specific "Central Coast/Gosford meet point", just the destination being soldiers Beach.

In terms of numbers, compared with what we had last year and the response we have had so far we are hoping from anywhere between 2-400 cars/bikes.

hey VZPLZ, great to hear you may be making it on the day. I personally was not present at the cruz you mentioned at xmas. so the car park will have entry as a nor,al weekday would.

We will be leaving homebush at 10:30 as advertised, which will get vehicles arriving about 1 h 15 later give or take. So around midday should have everyone rocking up for the raffle and sausage sizzle and chat.
