maybe it would look better if the scoop was painted a gloss black. might just be the photos but it just looks like another hunk of black plastic.

I think the matt blends the rest of the matt. Have seen it painted gloss red on another blown red gts. Did not like it at all. Here are some new pics.

That video was taken about 1 hour after i picked it up from walkinshaw performane qld. as you can hear by the gear change i was still a little nevous.Remember mines an auto. After a couple of months now i can use all of the power all of the time. In that vid i only gave it 1/4 throttle. If i hit the loud pedal hard it just lites up those 22s like there 15s.

Nah not a real fan of the hsv franchise, insurance costs a to high and if you add twin turbo there is not many insurers that will sell you a policy without a hefty price tag.
Plus 72 k is way to high for an 06
I can get an 07 GTS with 7000 km for 55k plus twin turbo fitted and tuned for around 16k.
HSV's are nice cars but just devalue to quickly.

55K is a steal. You should buy it & sell it to a dealer for 60k so they can sell it for 65k.

Snapped my neck when I saw this thing on the streets a couple of months ago ( Brunswick St lights ).
Never thought I'd hear anything about it until I stumbled on this thread this morning.
It looks and sounds extremely tough. Good effort and I'm sure you're enjoying it

Well Ive just read this entire thread and my heart is just pounding with excitement of how farking totally mental this GTS is. Off Its farking tits mate, everything you have done is spot on. The only thing that I would have done different is gone with a 6 Speed Manual Box. Id be seein about getting someone to look at the A6 cause I havent hurd real super great things about there power handeling abilities. Other than that awesome. 2008 Car of the Year. My Vote = Best Holden / HSV of All time.
Best thing is you havent been a tosser and spent 20k on a gay poof stereo system, you've done all the right things. Ill be going to bed tonight dreaming of the VE GTS.

Thanks dreama, it is so hard not to nail it every where. All i need now is a auto shop that can beef up the auto so it can handle 400+ rwkw. And then im done ....... until the next 1

Well put a 3" f1 full system on the gts the other day. now makes 388rwkw. Ive had a new auto fitted & man what a difference. This thing is just perfect. Before i would nail it & it would spin till the end of time in second, but now it hits 2nd spins slightly & then hooks up perfect. Must be the program. Aparently it was a brand new 1 off the shelf with the latest program. Cant do any more unless i upgrade the fuel system. I think over 500bhp will do for a while.....
