i got myL's just the other week then 3 day's late my parents bought m my very first car a vl calais ENJOY!!!!

yep it is a geniun calais it will be getting a light respray soon just to touch up 21 years worth of scratches and faded paint

how bad's the rust, got any pics of it
mine was bad, hadn't noticed it until i got a blue sticker
(in vic if some don't know... means ur car has to be towed home)
stick with it.. and it'll look mean

haven't decided yet got 4 years untill i can drive turbo to think about it
the rust is not bad haven't got a pic yet only in the wheel well and around the boot rubers but nearly fixed all the rust now
yeah we get a red or yellow sticker in NSW ?? i haven't got one so wouldn't know
same with yours mate it looks good

Update
well it's been a couple of weeks of getting all the rust out of the boot and from around the boot rubbers and now i'm finaly finshed
things i've done
-got rid of all rust in wheel well and painted it with sound deadner
-got rid of rust from around boot rubbers
-painted the hole boot gloss black ( doesn't matter cause carpet covers it )
-cleaned and polished the rear garnish
-stock calais on rear untill i get new tread

stokies on the rear soon to be on the front  dam hate having no money
what use think so far?

car enthused = all the mods are what is listed, and what else i gotta do to it not much but just a respray and fix the interior up and she should be sweet thinking of going the same colour for respray but darker not sure yet

i got a massive CAI with that style too. just that mine is 4" or 100mm all the way!
really makes a diff, plus i got the full exhaust system so it all makes for a good difference!
btw, how did u cut into the body to get the pipe into the airbox?
did u just use a drill and then jigsawed it all out?
