Post Stolen VN Group A...

VN Group A Rego: PB7388 was stolen from Campbelltown Bowling Alley on 30/10/05.. Build#374....Eng:VK599877......Vin: 6H8VNL19UML478922..
Vehicle was fitted with 2 alarms,3 immobilisers and a Quicktrak unit..(tracker was only 21 days old)..so much for technology...
Im only listing the details here in case someone might get offered parts or something and Revs dont have the car listed as stolen..So it could get resold or body or engine could get sold to someone..Car was only out of sight for 5 min...It was all caught on film, but so far no luck..

register the build number
just post it everywhere, if they strip it then people could find the numbers easy enough if its all original
go to HRT for the engine, tranny, diff, interior, everything numbers
bad luck mate VN group A's are awesome cars
hope you find it

That sucks, I live near Campbelltown so I will keep a look out. Sounds like someone really wanted your car, and probably used a tow truck to take it so quickly with all those alarms.

Quick question, says that build number is 374, wasn't there only 302 built?

I would suggest going to a different place to get your next alarm fitted , if it was done properly with 1 they shouldnt get past it , specially if you were gone for 5 minutes.

The build number is because they were intending on building 500 , they limited it to 302 but had already randomly allocated numbers between 1 and 500.

there must be a big shed in that area full of nice commos.

Another one bites the dust . . id say its long gone.

couldnt quick track be used to track it down shortly after being taken even if it was towed?? Was it towed?? If its on camera that is??

Otherwise how did they get it?

Very sad day indeed

mate, get on the phone this minute and ask WHY the hell quicktrack did not track or disable the car or call you? ask if the shop you got the alarm done even sent the info and then ask what sensors were picked up on that time period. Don't just let these people get away with this. I have tracking not with quicktrack but damn unless someone had the damn remote how did they get through everything in 5 mins????

They broke the driver window, popped the bonnet, pulled the battery and horns.Snapped the steering lock and pushed it away with a white commodore ute..Quick trak did call, but i missed the first call.It all happened in minutes.I have it all on film,no plates though..They pushed it for about 2ks and left it in a carpark..I found it..They had ripped the tracker box out and thrown it away, minutes after pushing it away ...So Quicktrak lost it straight away..They couldn,t immobise something that was getting pushed..Anyway i got it towed and 2 days later it was gone again..They broke into the smash repairs and that was the last of it..

Nope, the guy who fitted the tracker was Quicktraks own and HDT in Revesby in Sydney were the agents for the fitting and i have known them for around 20 yrs.And they said they had known the installer nearly as long. The smash repairer are also mates of mine..So the search goes on..But their has been parts being sold on Ebay in the Glenfield area, but Ebay are impossible to contact as they only have an email address and so far, me or the police have had no reply from them..So now the police have handed it over to the computer crime division?????

geese you got it back then it got stolen again . . very bad luck . . but it sounds like the guys who took it might be closer to you than you would like (ie seem to know your every move)

reminds me of the slr torana stolen at this years nats .. recovered . . then stolen again while it was at the cop shop . . talk about a roller coaster . . the stress of having ti stolen, then found then stolen again!!

I hope you get some leads.
