Thanks for the comments guys.
I was looking for a while till I found it, Low K's & sunroof was a bonus too !
As for mods, I hope to put an exhaust system on it, wheels & a few engine bolts ons.
I would love some VT GTS 18"s in Champaine !
It will be standard for a while yet though. Money !

awesome dude - i woulda bought that in a second if i came across it! The sunroof is a great bonus!
a few cheap things you can do for now are to put clear side indicators on it, and debadge everything except the holden lion badges.
cant wait to see you get some mods on it!

Nice ride mate. Power style luxury what more could u want.
Have to agree with HRT V6 18" VT GTS rims in Champagne would set it off nicely.
Good work.

Nice car there, those rims improve the looks heaps. Very nice find especially with the sunroof.
As far as debadging goes, do a search there are a few threads around on it. I just heated mine up and put a bit of water over them to soften the glue, then slid a bit of dental floss behind the badge, then peeled the remaining glue off with my finger. Easy as pie. But give it a go, at least for the side V6 badges.

looks good man, improved alot with the VX SS wheels. take off the mudflaps man.
for the badges, ive done it on my VS berlina and its clean as it can get. first get a hair dryer and heat them up, then you can get some fishing wire and put it behind the badges and pull it off, should come out easily. you can also use your hands to rip them off.
now that u've removed the badges, there will be dryed up black glue so heat that up again with the hairdryer and use your nails to get them off. this takes the longest so be patient.
lastly, there will be some resedue/marks so get some car polish and that should remove it with a brilliant shine and mark free. hope that helps.
just wondering how much u paid for the calais and how many k's?
cheers

That's one sweet VS, would love to be the owner of something like that, in fact I'd love that one. With the badges, be careful with the hair dryer, too much heat will bubble the paint. Just give it a bit and keep trying to pull the badge off with your fingers, i've done this before and it's pretty easy. With the leftover on the panel, just hit it with the prepsol, comes up a treat. I'd leave the badges and put a VY front guard 'supercharged' badge on the bootlid.

Remember before you bag me out i'm in QLD and cars are a rip off up here, you lucky buggers down south have it too good !

good condition VS calais with SC6 engine are quite hard to find up here in QLD. Even the shitters are around 15K. Getting one with under 100K on the clock, and in as good condition as yours sleek geek, id be happy to pay $15K - $16K
Awesome to hear youve paid it off now and are considering mods... bring it on!!!
infact i vote you skip the lower boost pulley upgrades and go straight for the FMIC kit and 17psi

Wait up a second here. 15.5k aint a bad price at ALL. When i bought mine asking private was about 15-16k and dealerships wanted $19.990 (This was about 18months ago), and they were anywhere as clean as yours, or with as few kays. Mine will hit 200k when i drive to QLD next week
Well i dont know about australian cars, but imports are cheap in QLD. I was about to buy a SC6 VSII Calais in Syd, and was on holiday in QLD at the time. The finance came thru, but the car got sold. i was in QLD with about 20 budget, Nissans with RB25DET's and 5speed were very tempting, esp how much cheaper they are in QLD.
In the end controlled my self, and bought a nice sensible old mans car

Is your interior leather ?
Mine has 78,000kms and got it for 14,990
If its approved then mods will be done for sure.
